A brand refresh for a timeless architecture firm, from the website to brochures, newsletters, and social.
HDA Architects is a small, established firm known for timeless architecture. I joined as their in-house designer to take an existing brand further. The goal was not to reinvent it, but to sharpen it into something clean, elegant, and built to last.
I stripped the palette to black and white, let their original brand colors surface only as accents, and introduced a rectangle motif as a new structural element throughout. The work itself stayed the focus; everything else was there to frame it.
The foundation for every other touchpoint. Black-and-white for the brand, color reserved for the projects.
Each team member's credentials presented within a consistent visual identity, with handwritten signatures as the personal touch.
Custom picture books gifted at project close, tracing before → construction → final result. "Price Distributing" and "Frontenac Office Building."
A pitch built in collaboration with two outside firms, unified into one visual language.
Monthly, mobile-first, built to actually get opened.
