Naked Magazine

Magazine:

Naked Food Magazine was a school assignment that consisted of grabbing something for the real world and redesigning it. I had to play around with hierarchy, display text in different formats, and uplift the magazine. I decided to go with Naked Food because I liked their concept, but I believed it could be taken to the next level.

Logo:

The overall look and feel that I wanted the magazine to have was modern style. I started by redesigning the logo. After playing around and bouncing some ideas, I saw that the name had two D's and decided to combine them. I replaced their current serif font with a san-serif one to modernize it.

Front Cover:

I decided to give the magazine front cover a moody vibe by using dark colors. Each magazine edition would also have a specific color for the headlines to differentiate one from another. For Latin America, I chose orange; as you can see, the headers are different orange tones.

Back Cover:

The magazine's back cover is a sneak peek at what the next magazine would be about. In this case, the magazine would be about Asia. I looked for imagery that would maintain the mood of the cover and used the same colors as the front to maintain some unity.

Inside Magazine:

Inside the magazine, I wanted to cover the countries in that continent and explore what each country offers. I like the magazine to be filled with all types of information, from recipes to exciting blogs, to expose the beautiful things that each country has and the excellent benefits. Some of the countries that I decided to explore were Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina.
